Meet our newest instructor, Amanda!

We’re over the MOON happy to introduce Amanda as our newest instructor to our studio. A yoga instructor for over 5 years in various disciplines, Amanda brings a wealth of experience to our studio. She loves our mission, our vision, and wants to help everyone discover yoga – especially those that may have been deterred or intimidated in the past.

Her favorite yogi to admire? Indra Devi.

“Yoga is a way to freedom.  By its constant practice, we can free ourselves from fear, anguish and loneliness” (Indra Devi).

Per Amanda, “The first time I crossed that threshold into my first yoga studio, I had no idea what I was in for.  I knew I was searching for a way to improve my mental health and my overall wellbeing, and by the end of my first practice, I knew I had found it.  At that moment, I wholly committed to a consistent yoga practice.  I took my first year, and dedicated it solely to improving my mental wellbeing and ability to cope with life.  I began to find a place of peace, calm, and balance; a place where all negativity was drowned out, and I could finally hear my positive intuitive voice ‘freeing myself from fear.'”

Amanda is a certified RYT 200 instructor with hours upon hours of training. Her first training was in hot yoga; she has taught hot yoga, vinyasa flow, restorative, private sessions, and small group sessions. She is excited to grow as an instructor through the exploration of various yoga disciplines, as well as to spread the love and peace of yoga and all its many benefits to our community!

Please help welcome Amanda to our studio, to Spokane, and come reap the benefits of her teaching in one of our many new class offerings beginning January 2018!
