Incorporating simplistic moves from standard yoga positions, we will use this class to focus on our breath control – breathing into one move, breathing out to the next. By focusing on your breath, you allow your body to fill with oxygen at the right times, and release oxygen at the right times, which ultimately helps with 1) your circulation, 2) releasing pressure off your spine when you should, and 3) ultimately leading to better overall flexibility. We’re still not going to go super fast in this class, but we will focus on fluidly moving from one move to the next rather than holding our positions for a long time. We practice safety first, and we’ll make sure our students have enough time to reset themselves in every position. Modifications can be made by the instructor to make any position easier or harder!
