Kickbox & Self Def.

Sometimes, you just feel like punching and kicking things rather than being tranquil in yoga. And that’s totally fine! In this class we will teach you fundamental and basic punches and kicks that serve as the backbone of kickboxing. You’ll learn a variety of moves, along with proper form, and learn them in sequences to establish a rhythm of it all. You’ll also learn how to apply these moves to defend yourself in hypothetical real-life situations. Our goal is to bring awareness, agility, and strength to empower you! And, you might end up feeling a little like Wonder Woman.

Stacey is the owner and primary trainer at FatGirl Yoga. She has many years of yoga experience in addition to other fitness and sports related activities. In addition to teaching classes, she is also a real estate agent/broker in Spokane as well as a professional photographer. Stacey enjoys teaching yoga as a source of strength and empowerment!     It’s Carol and Tami….we are interested in taking a few personal classes. We were wondering if we could break them into half hour increments because we are such beginners. We need to know if you have any times after 5 in the evening during the week.

    I am an absolute beginner. Do we have to bring anything? wear anything in particular?
    Is this something a beginner can just jump into on any Wednesday?
